The Singletons, a Phoenix-based nonprofit, is hosting a casino night on Saturday

PHOENIX, AZ — The Singletons, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that helps single parents battling cancer, is hosting its casino night this weekend.

Casino Royale 2022 will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at the organization’s newly opened HUB, located at 2832 E. Bell Rd. in Phoenix.

The evening will feature Vegas-style games – featuring craps, roulette and blackjack – and raffle giveaways as well as chef-created cuisine and cocktails prepared by mixologists. There will even be pancake stations.

All proceeds will be used to provide emotional, financial and family support to single parents battling cancer in the community.

“This event helps us continue to support families with monthly meals and groceries, household supplies, programs and special events,” said Jody Boyd, Executive Director and Founder of The Singletons.

Tickets for the event are available online. The $50 Club Player ticket includes $100 in game chips and two drink tickets, while the $199 VIP Player ticket package includes $700 in game chips, two drinks and five raffle tickets.

Add-ons include $50 in chips for $20 and $250 in chips for $60.

The organization – formerly called Singleton Moms – began as a tribute to Michelle Singleton, a single mother of four who lost her battle with cancer in 2005.

Recently, the organization’s new HUB space was remodeled to include a brand new kitchen – with donated Sub-Zero appliances – an outdoor patio and entertainment area.
