Playtech: signs a strategic partnership with Novomatic Americas
London, March 4, 2021 – Playtech, the global leader in gambling technology, today announces a non-exclusive sports betting alliance with Novomatic Americas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Europe’s largest VLT provider, NOVOMATIC AG. The agreement builds on the long-term partnership between Playtech and NOVOMATIC, which jointly operate more than 10,000 kiosks worldwide.
The strategic partnership will see Playtech’s Sports Betting Kiosk (SSBT) systems delivered through Novomatic ActionBook ™, the most popular sports betting kiosk in the US market. Novomatic ActionBook ™, which already supplies DraftKings and Penn National among others, is active in 11 states and 49 different locations across the United States. The partnership also provides for the parties to jointly market Playtech’s sports betting and player account (PAM) management software to potential customers.
The deal represents the latest deal since Playtech entered the US market last year, with the company already providing services to Bet365 and Entain in New Jersey. Earlier this month, Playtech also signed an agreement with Parx Casino in Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
