How to Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Southern California Casinos – Press Enterprise
Things haven’t quite returned to pre-pandemic normal, there are plenty of Valentine’s Day celebrations to choose from this year at Southern California casinos, whether a romantic dinner or entertainment.
If you plan to dine out, be sure to book early as many restaurants encourage them.
Unless otherwise stated, all dining specials included below are valid for February 14th only.
Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City

On Saturday, February 12, The Dreamboats will perform doo wop hits from the 50s and 60s at the outdoor Agave Caliente Terraza from 7-8 p.m. and again from 8:30-9:30 p.m. The event will also host a ’50s and 60s costume contest where rewards club members can win prizes. DJ Modgirl will close the evening from 9:30 p.m. $20.

The Rancho Mirage property will host a guest bartender at the newly renovated Pívat Cigar Lounge. Additionally, Air Supply will be performing at the Show on February 12. The classic ballads of this soft rock duo are the perfect way to start a romantic weekend.

The Indio-area resort offers special food and background music for Valentine’s Day weekend, including a performance by the Righteous Brothers, whose “Unchained Melody” is featured in one of the most outstanding romantic scenes filmed in the movie “Ghost”. If you want to dance with your darling, Pitbull also plays on weekends.

The pub : Specialties include Key West grouper and rock crab meat sautéed with lemon zest mashed potatoes and broccoli and cheddar soufflé. $44 per person. Buffet of fresh grilled meats: The all-you-can-eat buffet will feature options such as oysters on a half shell, Gulf prawn cocktail, smoked salmon, New Zealand mussels, prime rib, maple roast turkey breast, New York steaks, a braised pork osso buco and seafood diavolo, among other dishes. 11am-9pm Adults, $39.99; kids, $29.99; children three and under are free.
POMS: Lobster ravioli and grilled prawns with asparagus tips, roasted piquillos and vodka-rosa cream sauce, micro-salad, basil oil and crispy parmesan. 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. $34 per person.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: The location’s confectionery will offer a variety of Valentine’s Day specials, including items such as strawberry macadamia bars with caramel and chocolate covered macadamia nuts, mini heart boxes filled with chocolates , marshmallow hearts, a variety of truffles and chocolate-dipped strawberries. 10am-11pm

In addition to Air Supply’s show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage, the band will perform at Harrah’s on Friday, February 11. The casino will also offer special dishes at Café and Fiore.

Cielo: A four-course meal includes hamachi tartare with avocado, red onion, jalapeno, ginger wasabi vinaigrette and caviar; pomegranate and tuille sorbet with almonds; sea bass poached in lobster butter with prawns, mashed potatoes with basil, champagne and blood orange cream; red velvet pie topped with white chocolate mousse; and Chambord liqueur. 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. $125.
Good Coffee Time: Land and sea special with filet mignon and creamy Cajun shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes, wild mushrooms, asparagus, cippolini onion and grape tomatoes. The dessert is a white chocolate and raspberry mousse. 11am-11pm $46.99.
