How Southern California Casinos Celebrate the 4th of July – Press Enterprise

Independence Day is approaching and Southern California casinos have many ways to celebrate the holiday. Whether you’re looking for fireworks or 4th of July themed food and drink, there’s something for everyone. Some of the celebrations take place before the 4th of July, so watch the event details carefully. Most events are for all ages but require an accompanying adult.

Here is what the casinos have planned:

Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City

Agave Caliente Terraza: The rink returns outside the casino from 7 p.m. to midnight on July 2 and 3. All ages are welcome, but an adult must accompany children under 18. ($15; admission with skates; $10 without skates). Tickets can be purchased online at the casino’s website or onsite at the Essentials Gift Shop.

Casino bars: $2 Jell-O shots will be served throughout the facility on July 4th.

Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage

Outside: The Rancho Mirage Resort will host its annual fireworks display in its south parking lot beginning at 9 p.m. on July 4. The parking lot opens at 3 p.m.

Pauma Casino

Outside: The casino will host its first-ever laser show on July 2, starting at 9 p.m. The event is for all ages and admission is free.

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino

Eagle Falls Golf Course: The casino will host a free fireworks display on Thursday, June 30. The show will take place at 8:45 p.m. on the resort’s golf course, where guests are encouraged to arrive early and bring blankets and low-back folding chairs. You can also watch the show from the parking lot of the golf course.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

Dive: A DJ will be playing at the casino’s pool complex starting at noon on Monday, July 4.

‘Ritas Cantina: The restaurant will serve beef brisket simmered with smoky barbecue sauce, Mexican corn, Hawaiian rolls and mac and cheese. $24.99.

Enriched: The bar will be serving a Vodka Bomb Pop, consisting of Skyy Raspberry, sweet lemonade with a sweet edge and a bomb pop. $12.

Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa

Tacos Fiesta: Steamed corn on a stick, mayonnaise, cotija cheese, butter and chili. $6.99.

Good Coffee Time: You can enjoy barbecued smoked beef brisket with potato salad, baked beans and corn on the cob. $27.99.

Pitstop dinner: Located next door at Casino Morongo, the restaurant will serve a half rack of pork chops with corn on the cob and fries. $17.99.

Pink coffee: The cafe will serve a key lime pie. $7.

Casino in the seaside resort of Pechanga

Outside: The resort town of Temecula will host its annual fireworks show on July 4 at 8:45 p.m. The show should be visible to community members from various points in South Temecula. Spectators will also have a designated area to park and watch the show. Guests cannot park RVs on the Pechanga lot unless they are in the RV Resort. Camping, grilling, open flames, glass, alcohol and illegal substances are not allowed, according to a press release from Pechanga.

Casino Spotlight 29

Coachella Crossroads: The outdoor site adjacent to the casino will host a celebration on July 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will include games, family activities, food trucks and live performances from DJ Chase and Chayce Beckham. The fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Turtle Rock Casino

Outside: Spotlight sister property 29 Casino will also be hosting an event from 5pm to 10pm, but this will take place on July 4. The event will consist of games, family activities, food trucks and live performances from Neon Union. The fireworks begin at 9 p.m. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 13.

Valley View Casino and Hotel

Event Center: The casino will give away a 4th of July t-shirt to members of the players’ club. New members will also receive $100 free play when they sign up. Members can pick up their shirts at the Event Center between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on July 4.

Yamava’ Resort & Casino

The Modern Pines Steakhouse: The restaurant will serve 4th of July specials including chilled corn soup ($15), wagyu burger ($85) and red, white and blue macaroon ($18).

Serrano Vista Cafe: The restaurant will serve a Braised Pulled Pork Sandwich ($18) and Peach Cobbler ($10). Reservations are encouraged.
