Even with the dwindling viewership and demo, AEW Dynamite took the number one demographic spot among cable originals last night. The declining numbers are likely due to ABC’s NBA Finals coverage, which drew massive audiences and a demo, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show launched a Casino Battle Royale to determine who would earn the right to challenge Jon Moxley in the show’s main event. The main event saw Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley defeat Casino Battle Royale winner Kyle O’Reilly of The Undisputed Elite. Moxley is now moving on to Forbidden Door to compete for the interim AEW World Championship.
