007 Chorley Charity Ball to raise much needed funds for good local causes

The Mayor of Chorley, Councilor Steve Holgate, is set to host a charity ball to raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice, Chorley Inspire Youth Zone and Chorley in Bloom.

The 007 Casino Royale-themed spectacular will take place on Saturday, March 26. The event will be sponsored by Robertson North West.

Tickets are on sale now for just £30, with all proceeds going to chosen charities.

Steve said: “I am so happy that we can finally hold our annual charity ball and this year we have gone above and beyond with the event.

“Don’t miss your tickets and join me and the Mayor for an evening of fun while raising vital funds for our amazing local charities that greatly help our communities.

“Dress to kill, even the bad guys are welcome.”

The ‘Dress to Kill’ ball kicks off at 7pm, with entry from 6.15pm at The Lancastrian, Chorley Town Hall followed by a disco, auction, special raffle, fun casino and an international cabaret artist, Gemma Louise Doyle.

Tickets include champagne and a classic hotpot dinner, followed by gourmet desserts.

St Catherine’s is a local hospice caring for patients and families in Chorley, South Ribble and Preston who are affected by life-shortening conditions.

The Chorley Inspire Youth Zone is a purpose-built facility for all young people in Chorley aged 8-19 and up to 25 for people with disabilities.

Chorley in Bloom is an independent volunteer group formed to enter Chorley in the North West in Bloom competition and create a charming borough in bloom.
